The associate in this position is expected to provide aviation product reliability engineering expertise in support of new designs and to reduce in-service reliability issues.  The associate will utilize standard quality and reliability tools such as design failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA), design for reliability (DFR) and failure reporting, analysis and corrective action system (FRACAS).  The associate will monitor in-service product failures using reliability performance parameters such as mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time between unscheduled removals (MTBUR) with goal of reducing failures and premature removals.  The associate will work with suppliers to improve product reliability.
